TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms & conditions constitute a binding contract between the client and Extra Events Essex at the time of a confirmed booking.


  1. A booking deposit outlined on the invoice is payable upon booking your event to secure your chosen date. The booking deposit will be deducted against the total cost of the rental or purchase.

  2. The booking deposit is non-refundable for any cancellations or carried forward to an alternative date.

  3. We will try our very best to accommodate changes prior to your event day. This will be on a case by case basis and will be down to lead-time on relevant materials/equipment.

  4. Our hire prices are based on a 6-hour period from the time the set up is complete. Any additional hours over this period will be charged at a standard rate of £15.00 per hour.

  5. Full payment/balance of rental or purchase (after deduction of the booking deposit) is due no later than 10 days prior to the event day.

  6. Payment methods accepted are bank transfer or cash. Currently, cheques, card payments and PayPal are not accepted.

  7. All hired equipment remains the property of Extra Events Essex at all times.

  8. The client/hirer accepts full responsibility for any injuries caused by or when using the hire equipment of Extra Events Essex.

  9. All equipment is delivered, assembled and styled by Extra Events Essex and included in our prices within 10-mile radius of Braintree, Essex. If the client/hirers event venue is outside of this 10-mile radius, a quotation cost f delivery will be provided.

  10. It is the responsibility of the client/hirer to check they have adequate space for the hired equipment and suitable access and parking is available for delivery and installation of the equipment.
